TEDx Oradea has seen this year it’s second edition. It is being organized by Manifest pentru Oradea, in early November, and this time it took place at Zion Synagogue, very close to the city center.
Under the event’s Adventures platform, Manifest pentru Oradea in collaboration with the TEDx crew have organized and held a few workshops, like jewelry, robotics; 3D printing demonstrations and even some cooking classes.

I’ve been lucky enough to get invited to do a calligraphy workshop. So I could not refuse to hang out, see the city and even paint a couple of canvases.
And the best part was meeting with the fine people of Oradea, getting our fingers dirty, using a brush, lots of practice, ink & patience and do some lettering and calligraphy together.
În cadrul workshopului de lettering, type designerul român, Andrei Ogradă va prezenta diferite stiluri de caligrafie. Vei avea ocazia să înveți cum să folosești instrumentele de scris pentru a obține diferite tușe, cum să adaptezi stilul de scriere mesajului pe care dorești să îl transmiți și vei face exerciții de construcție de literă sau de compoziție într-o manieră experimentală, ghidușă.
Salutări la toți participanții la atelier; apoi Alin, Vlad, Bere, Alexandra, pentru tot sprijinul, iar Remus, pentru pozele faine de la atelier. Ne mai vedem. Tschuss!
